Mary King Shaw

Mary K. Shaw, age 79, passed away on June 15, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Jacksonville and was a longtime resident of Bulloch County. Mary was a member of Old Fellowship Baptist Church where she was active in the Mamie Woodward Sunday School Class and Women’s Bible Study. Mary enjoyed traveling. Her favorite tv shows were Reba, Law and Order, and Golden Girls. She worked for the Bulloch County Board of Education for over 30 years. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved relaxing and holding her dogs. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Bernard W. Shaw.

Mary is survived by her sons; Thomas(Rachel) Shaw of Statesboro, Richard(Dian) Shaw of Canton, GA, and Stephen(Lynn) Shaw of Brooklet, GA.; her grandchildren, Lily Shaw of Statesboro, GA, Emma Shaw of Canton, GA, Kimball Shaw of Statesboro, GA ; her sister, Emily Frankford of Anderson, SC.; her special friend, Rhonda Dorsey of Douglas, GA. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday June 19, 2023, from 11:00am-12:00pm at Old Fellowship Baptist Church.

Funeral Service will be held Monday June 19, 2023, at 12:00pm at Old Fellowship Baptist Church with Dr. Tony Pagliarullo officiating.

Memorial contributions can be made to Bulloch County Human Society.
