On August 26, 2021, heaven gained another beautiful spirit when Alisha Brandi Little Godbee was called home. Alisha’s time on earth was way too short but she made a huge impact on the people who knew her while she was here. Alisha was born on September 7, 1979 in Tift County, Georgia to Rodney and Pamela West Little. She graduated from Berrien High School in 1998 and upon graduation she joined the United States Army and proudly served her country.
Alisha continued to serve humanity after she completed her stint in the Army by earning a degree from Valdosta Technical College and becoming an Xray technician. Later, she furthered her education and became a CT Scan Technologist. At her passing, Alisha was working at East Georgia Regional Medical Center and Effingham Hospital.
Aside from her full-time jobs as an imaging tech, she was also co-owner of East Coast Towing and Recovery. She liked nothing better than riding in the wrecker. But, she also had a softer side, and when it came to shopping she was one of the best!
Alisha is preceded in death by her brother, Rodney Franklin Little II (Lil Roddy); her grandparents, Joyce Little, James E. West, JoBeth Little, Carl JP Jensen; an uncle, James “Alan” West; her aunts, Angela “Dawn” West Futrill and Donna Sparks Little; and her father-in-law, Hershel Godbee.
Alisha loved her family and friends as they loved her. She is survived by her husband and love of her life, Troy Godbee; her daughters, Savannah Smith (Isaac)and Alivia Watson; her sons, Nathan Little and Vencint Garza (Karen); her mother and father, Pam and Roddy Little; grandchildren who called her “Nini”, Scarlett, baby boy due in September and baby girl due in November; her sister, Amanda Barfield (John Lee); her grandparents, Leroy Little, Dorothy Jensen and Shawna West; nieces, Anslee Barfield and Adalee Barfield; nephew, Carson Barfield; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Thomas White; sister-in law, Angie Linto (Randy); her very special friends, Virgil and Tracy Horton and Aaron; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other nieces, nephews and close friends and her beloved dog, Neno.
