Claudia Clayton passed away peacefully on November 3, 2022 at the age of 69. A native of Savannah, she met and married the love of her life 49 years ago and had 2 beautiful daughters that she cherished. She lived in Brazil Indiana for several years and then returned home to her beloved Georgia.
After working at Gulfstream/Savannah Air for many years she retired to better enjoy her favorite activities with family and friends. Claudia was the most fun loving, spirit filled lady who never met a stranger and achieved any goal she set her mind to. Her smile and laughter were infectious, her personality always shown through her beautiful big brown eyes and her sassy ways. She was a delight for so many that knew her.
She enjoyed life to the fullest, whether it was traveling, shopping, riding motorcycles, camping, attending events both big and small or just being there for her family, she was always a shining light. She loved her music and her friends and was happiest when all of those were combined. Ever supportive, you could always count on her if you were in need.
She leaves behind her adoring husband and best friend of 49 years, Ronnie Clayton, her two treasured and loving daughters; Stephanie Clayton and Shelly Simpson (Robert), as well as her most cherished grandson Cooper. Other survivors include her two sisters, several nieces and nephews and countless friends and loved ones she met through her life. She will be missed beyond words.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to your local animal rescues/shelters, as she was an avid animal lover. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
