Evelyn Ruth Wandell

Mrs. Evelyn Ruth Kline Wandell, AKA “Grandma” passed away on September 4, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. Evelyn was born on June 28, 1936 in Waverly, New York to Peter Kline and Lula Parks Kline. She worked many years in New Jersey as a school bus driver before moving to Bulloch County.

Evelyn’s heart was full of love. She loved helping others, always giving whatever she had. But her greatest joy was her family, and her favorite name was “Grandma”.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Amber.

She is survived by her husband, Lewis Wandell; her children, Peter Wandell of Statesboro, Carol Cochenour of Atlanta, Desmond Wandell of Atlanta, Valerie Collins of Statesboro, Michael Wandell of Statesboro, DeWayne Wandell of North Carolina and Marion Wandell of Statesboro; her grandchildren, James, Amber, Paul, Christopher, Michael, Michele, Jessica and Lauren; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Samantha, Jazzmin, Jessica, Kristy-Ann, Paul Jr., Alayca and Gage; and several great-great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service is planned for a later date.
