James "Jimmy" Stanley Ellrod

James “Jimmy” Stanley Ellrod a construction specialist and long-life resident of Bulloch County passed unexpectedly January 25,  2021 at the age of 58.

Jimmy is survived by Gina Anderson Ellrod, wife, and Ramona Stoots, long time special friend; his sons, James Elllrod, Shane Ellrod; stepsons, Thomas Grubbs, Donald Wayne Grubbs and Nicholas McDuffie; and stepdaughters, Donna Wright and Michelle Jones.

Also, he leaves behind his siblings, Joey and Trish Ellrod of Statesboro, GA, Debra and Richard Hice of Ellabell, GA, Jr. and Michelle Ellrod of Sylvania, GA, Raymond and Jodi Ellrod of Statesboro, GA,Joseph Ellrod of Statesboro, GA, and Joshua Ellrod (Heidi) of Bainbridge, GA; twenty grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his father George J. Ellrod, Sr. and his mother, Roberta Sue Ellrod.

Born on August 31, 1962 in Charleston, West Virginia, Jimmy was a devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and motorcycle riding.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 12:00-1:30 PM at Deal Funeral Directors, Statesboro, Ga. The Graveside service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM at Bulloch Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be James Grubbs, Bubba Hice, Dustin Ellrod, Shane Ellrod, Chad Blackwell and Mark Madden.

The family requests that all attending follow CDC guidelines including social distancing and wearing masks.
