James "Jimmy" A Kingery

James “Jimmy” A. Kingery, age 85, passed away on October 22, 2022.   Jimmy was born in Register, Georgia on February 22, 1937 to the late Arlis and Zelma Goodman. He married the love of his life, Vondell Lewis, and they enjoyed 49 wonderful years together before she went to be with the Lord.

Jimmy drove a truck for over 20 years for Browns Transport where his CB handle was Brown Mule. He was a Jack of all Trades and was always willing to lend a hand when it was needed. But, his greatest achievement was the title “World’s Best Grandfather.”

Along with his wife and parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by his son, John Kingery; and his brother, Ray Kingery.

He is survived by his daughter Sharon Kingery Garfield; his grandson, Scott Kingery (Jessica); and great grandchildren, Haelyn Kingery, Mariah Kingery and Stella Kingery.

The graveside service will be at 2:30 PM on October 24, 2022 at Lower Lotts Creek Primitive Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Deal Funeral Directors from 1:00-2:00 PM before the graveside service.
