Kathryn "Kathy" Lucille Manning Hamlin

Kathy was born in Montgomery, Alabama on December 28,1948 and on January 19, 2021 she peacefully passed away in her home.

Kathy dedicated her career and life in various private and public organizations in a variety of secretarial and management positions. Upon retirement Kathy became an Auxiliary Services Volunteer at East Georgia Regional Medical Hospital, Statesboro, Georgia. Her dedication to the field of volunteerism was more than just giving her time; for Kathy it was a way of living and sharing her heart and providing hope to others.

The family of the late Kathy Hamlin acknowledges with sincere appreciation the comforting messages, tributes, and other expressions of sympathy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Safe Haven Outreach of Statesboro, GA.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, January 24, 2021, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Deal Funeral Directors with visitation one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 PM. Joey Fennell will be officiating the service.
