Leedell Mixon

Leedell Mixon, age 76, departed this life on Monday, September 14, 2020 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. Leedell Mixon was under the care of Regency SouthernCare Hospice. He was born on December 2, 1944, in Statesboro, to Velma Oglesby and Grady Mixon.

Leedell was a retired construction worker. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple measures; chatting and spending time with family and friends. He was always cracking jokes, laughing, and wearing a smile on his face. He was a loving and caring person, friend, and always thinking of others first.

Leedell leaves to cherish his loving memory, his son: Mike Mixon; his brothers: Johnny and Larry Mixon; 4 grandchildren: Michael Kimbrell, Dylan, Lakeland, and Crosby Mixon; 3 great-grandchildren: Samuel, Isabelle, and Daniel Kimbrell, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Priscilla Mixon; his two sisters: Evelyn Dickey and Grace Ann Graham; and his two brothers Jerry and Joe Mixon.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
