Lewis Andrew Wandell, Jr.

Lewis Andrew Wandell, Jr. passed away January 19, 2022 at Eagle Health and Rehabilitation. Mr. Wandell was born in Sayer, Pennsylvania on December 26, 1936 to Lewis A Wandell and Laura Forrest Wandell.  While in high school, he was a member of the Future Farmers of American and never lost his love for agriculture. At one time he worked on a Dairy Farm in New Jersey. Mr. Wandell was a truck driver for over fifty years.

Mr. Wandell was preceded by in death by his wife, Evelyn, who passed away last year and also, his great granddaughter, Amber.

He is survived by his children, Peter Wandell of Statesboro, Carol Cochenour of Atlanta, Desmond Wandell of Atlanta, Valerie Collins of Statesboro, Michael Wandell of Statesboro, DeWayne Wandell of North Carolina and Marion Wandell of Statesboro; his grandchildren, James, Amber, Paul, Christopher, Michael, Michele, Jessica and Lauren; great grandchildren, Jordan, Samantha, Jazzmin, Jessica, Kristy-Ann, Paul, Jr., Alayca and Gage; and several great-great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service is planned for a later date.
