Mary Ann (Jahr) Mozingo

Mary Ann Mozingo , age 60, passed away January 8, 2024, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Mary Ann was born in Highland Park, Michigan to Arthur and Arelene Jahr. She attended Anchor Bay High School and after graduation she proudly joined the United States Air Force.  After serving, she attended college where she became a certified public accountant.

Mary Ann loved her children, but nothing could compare to the love she had for her grandbabies. She is proceeded in death by her father, Arthur Jahr; husband, Sherman Mozingo; and a brother.

She is lovingly survived by her mother, Arlene Jahr;  son, Jeremy Ayers, Sr. (Melissa); daughters, Sarah McAlister (Christopher), Holly Thrift (Vincent, Sr.), and a step-daughter, Kirby Hayberg (Randall); 13 grandchildren; 3 sisters; a brother; many nieces and nephews; and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00pm at Deal Funeral Directors.
