Melissa Jean Pughsley

Statesboro, GA

Melissa Jean Pughsley, age 48, died Friday, January 24, 2020 at her residence. She was a native of Savannah, GA but lived most of her life in Bulloch County. She loved animals, especially horses, and loved to fish.

Melissa is preceded in death by her father, John Wayne Pughsley; her brother, John Wayne Pughsley, Jr.; daughter, Ashley Shari Pughsley; and grandparents, LB & Delores Smart.

Surviving are her son, Jeffrey Greene; mother, Gloria Gann and step-father, James Gann; brother, Jesse Gann; sisters, Janice Sousa (John), Felicia Hollingsworth (Chris Crowe), Rachel Wells (D.L.), and Stephanie Webb; several aunts and one uncle.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Deal Funeral Directors.
