Michael E Carter

Michael Eric Carter, Sr. passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Oceanside Nursing Home, Tybee Island, Georgia. Mr. Carter was born, July 5, 1960 to Herman Lee and Mardell Carter

Michael never met a stranger, loving life and loving people. While his career path was painting, it had also been one of his favorite hobbies. When he was not working, you could find him on the water, either fishing or crabbing.  But, most importantly, Michael loved and cared for his family and his family shared those feelings.

Michael Carter is preceded in death by his father and mother, Herman Lee and Mardell Carter and his brother, John Dale Carter.

Survivors include his children: Tiffany Carter Larson (Justin), Michael E. Carter, Jr., Heather Carter, Christina Carter and Nikki Carter Denten (Patrick). Michael also leaves behind his brothers: Rocky Carter (Ann) and David Carter (Donna), two sisters: Kathy Cannady and Angie Carter, eleven grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
