Mildred M Spires

Mildred (Millie) Milton Spires, age 90, went peacefully to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 7, 2020 surrounded by her family.  She was one of ten children born to  Henry Emitt and Annie Erlena Williams Milton.

Millie enjoyed life and before her husband passed was able to spend a lot of time traveling with him, at times camping along the way. She also took up crocheting  and made some beautiful pieces for her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, A. M. “Skeet” Spires, Jr., four brothers, and four sisters.

Surviving are her two stepsons, Tim Spires (Donna) of McRae and Kelly Spires (Sara Elizabeth) of Alamo; her sister, Erlene Dempsey; several step-grandchildren and a host of other relatives.

Visitation will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 11 at Deal Funeral Directors with a graveside service to follow at 3:00 PM at Bulloch Memorial Gardens with Pastor Harold Piet officiating.
