Randy Franklin Cribbs was suddenly called home to be with Jesus on July 15, 2022 after suffering a stroke. He passed peacefully with his children Shane and Angel Cribbs, Caleb and Sierra Cribbs and Kendall and Andrew Lanier at his bedside.
Randy was born on July 13, 1954 in Statesboro, Georgia to parents James A. Cribbs and Edith Spires Cribbs and graduated from Southeast Bulloch High School in 1972 then lived most of his life in Stilson. He retired in 2012 after 31 years working in the storeroom at Georgia Ports Authority.
Randy was a Jack-of-all-trades and could fix anything. He found great joy in helping and providing for others. Second to his grandchildren, his pride and joy was his John Deere 5065. He also loved to garden and give all the harvest to the community. Randy was a regular at the Country Corner and will be missed by the many friends that he made while there.
He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Andrew, Courtney, Kyelie, Audrey, and Alaina Cribbs, as well as Gatlyn, Knox, and Memphis Lanier. He is also survived by one brother, Royce A. Cribbs and wife Betsy along with their children and grandchildren.
The funeral services will be held at Old Fellowship Church in Stilson (where Randy was a member) on Tuesday, July 19 at 11 AM with the graveside service to immediately follow. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service beginning at 9:00 AM up to the hour of service.
