Reuben Wilson Shore

Reuben Wilson Shore Jr, of Brooklet, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2023. He was born on April 6, 1944, in Macon, Georgia to the late Reuben W. Shore Sr and Thelma Curtis Shore.

A graduate of Willingham High School, class of ’65, Reuben joined the US Army soon after graduation and was stationed in Schweinfurt, Germany with the 3d Infantry Division where he served for 4 years. After his service, he worked various jobs around southeast Georgia finally settling in the Brooklet area working for Loxcreen MFG Company where he was a machine operator for more than 26 years. After retirement, his hobbies were hunting, shooting, aggravating his younger sister, and spending time with his family and friends.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Sidina Creed Shore, of 44 years, to cherish his memory along with a stepson, Donald Creed; Donald’s son, Jonah Champion; a younger brother, John I. Shore; and a baby sister, Debra J. Shore. He is preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother, Bobby Gene Shore.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 2:00PM at Immanuel Baptist Church Cemetery in Brooklet, Georgia.
