Terri Dawn Carter

Terri Dawn Carter (Greeson), 48 years old, passed away at East Georgia Regional Medical Center on September 13th, 2021, due to COVID complications. Her daughter Haley was at her side. Terri was a recent substitute teacher at Bible Baptist Christian Academy. She also served on the Children's Ministry at Spirit Life Revival Center for 7 years and taught at VBS. Terri was a long-time employee of Coastal Regional Commission and Pembroke Senior Center, and a member of Bible Baptist Church in Statesboro, GA.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Greeson.

Terri  is survived by her husband, Jerry Carter; her 2 daughters, Haley Taylor (Daniel) of Ellabell and Alissa Malphrus (Aaron) of Rincon; her father, Glen Greeson of Alabama; her 2 brothers, Tony Greeson (Angie) of Alabama, and Michael Greeson (Laura) of Kingsland; and Jerry’s 2 children, Gabe and Sarah of Brooklet. Also surviving are Terri’s greatest pride and joy, her 6 grandchildren, Kylee, Stephen, Natalie, Harrison, Alex, and Addison, along with many other family members.

The family will receive visitors at Bible Baptist Church at 889 GA-24, Statesboro, GA from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday, September 18th, 2021, with the funeral service at 2:00pm. Reverend Chris Holden will officiate. Interment will immediately follow the service at Immanuel Baptist Church Cemetery at 10290 US-80, Brooklet, GA.
