William Alan Morris, 64 - a loving grandfather, father, brother and son, and lifelong resident of Georgia, passed away in his home on July 22nd of natural causes.
Alan was born to Eugene and Mable Morris on February 15th 1957 in Dublin, GA. He was a graduate of Warner Robins High School before going into a career in sales that showcased his relatable charm, warm smile, and playful sense of humor. Many will remember Alan as an amazing chef and entertainer with a hearty laugh and a corny joke up his sleeve. Others will recall his passion for the sports teams he loved- the Demons, Dawgs and Braves. But mostly, all will remember his love and enthusiasm for his boys and grandchildren.
Alan is survived by his sons and their spouses (Brett and Kyanne, Drew and Kelly), grandchildren (Tyler and Maggie), mother (Mable), siblings (Daphne, Deborah, Melanie, Randy, Mark and Phillip) and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Waters Cemetery in Normantown, GA on Friday, August 6th at 11:00 a.m. The service will be followed by lunch and a celebration of life at his mother’s house (240 Louella St. Lyons, GA 30436).
