William "Bill" Wesley Snell

November 15, 1927 — December 19, 2022

William “Bill” Wesley Snell, 95, was reunited with his beloved wife, Jackie AKA “Mama”, on December 19, 2022. Both are now walking hand in hand through heaven as they did on earth together for more than 78 years. Mr. Snell, a lifelong resident of Johnson County, was the son of the late Delmas Ernest Snell and Annie Preston Snell. He loved the Lord and was a member of Wrightsville First United Methodist Church.

Bill and Jackie were young when they married but that union produced a long and loving legacy that their loved ones will treasure forever. He taught by example, showing those he loved what a real man should look like. He began his career in construction but worked his way all the way up to site project manager. Always a good, hardworking provider, Bill was also a loving, caring husband,  father and grandfather.

Along with Jackie, he is also reunited with his daughter, Janice Snell Stone.

Bill is survived by and will be greatly missed by his daughter and son-in law, Jade and Andrew Mccoy and his son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Mary Snell; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

The Graveside Service will be Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM at West View Cemetery in Wrightsville, Georgia.
